Giving birth is an event full of hope but can also have some anxious moments. Having a Doula in attendance can help calm a mom’s worries, from simply a hand to hold to much more.
A Doula is a trained professional who provides educational classes, resources, referrals on-call, and virtual support to birthing parents before, during, and after childbirth. The program additionally assists those who have experienced pregnancy loss or have high-risk pregnancies. Doulas can help patients, and their families, feel supported and give them a space to feel heard.
