Boris Noble brings his professional background and experience in the fields of government procurement/contracting, policy analysis, and external affairs to his role within Episcopal Health Services, Inc. (EHS) as part of the External Affairs team at St. John’s Hospital.
At St. John's, he is primarily the liaison to the Jewish community of the greater Far Rockaway/Bayswater and Five Towns areas. Boris works on various cross departmental initiatives between the hospital and outreach to the community. As such, he collaborates with groups like Achiezer, Hatzolah and various synagogues and rabbinic figures, in addition to handling marketing matters pertaining to the Jewish community. Ukrainian born, Boris speaks fluent Russian and is a former resident of Lawrence, on Long Island’s south shore.
Boris says he joined the Advisory Committee of the St. John’s ICARE Foundation, “for the same reason I joined the hospital in the first place—it gives me an opportunity to help people, give back and make a difference in society.” The ICARE Foundation, established in 2021, benefits and supports the charitable and educational activities of EHS. Boris is also a long-time participant of EHS’s annual Golf Tournament. Since its beginning, he notes that he’s been “to each one from heatwaves to downpours.” This event has something special, he explains, feeling it builds camaraderie and provides a chance to have various groups give back to the hospital and the surrounding community. Once again, Boris is looking forward to this year's golf outing on June 8, and to supervising the “Hole-In-One” as he does each year, adding, it’s his established “job” at the event.
