Joe Caraccia, Senior Executive Vice President of Jzanus Ltd. is proud of his company’s ongoing commitment to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital (SJEH). For over two decades, Jzanus has provided the hospital with various vendor services, from assisting patients with enrollment into New York State Health insurance offerings, to appealing clinical denials and by providing a workflow management solution to both the hospital and the Medical Services PC. Over his 26 years with Jzanus, Joe has also seen his company’s generosity toward the hospital’s mission of delivering high quality health care services for the growing Rockaways community. 

This partnership helps ensure that the hospital is there for patients and community members, no matter what age. For the past four years, Jzanus has helped some of the newest residents get off to a good start by providing baby monitors to all mothers who deliver at St. John’s during the month of January. “We’re proud to be supportive where we can,” Joe says. 

For his part, Joe keeps the momentum of his personal involvement going with any number of projects. He serves on the Advisory Committee for the St. John’s ICARE Foundation, established in 2021 to benefit and support the charitable and educational activities of the hospital, as well as Episcopal Health Services, Inc. (EHS) He has been a member of the hospital’s Golf Tournament Committee for the past four years and has participated in raising money for several Giving Tuesday crowdfunds, most recently the 2022 campaign to launch the Healing2Music program.

Joe believes St. John’s is a safety net for the community and gets a great deal of satisfaction from his individual efforts in helping the hospital sustain its growth and stability. That his passion for giving back is in line with his company’s philosophy of doing so, encourages Joe’s continued support. “That many of the Jzanus staff is interested in the success of St. John’s, keeps me motivated. I am also inspired by seeing the dedication of the hospital’s staff, the efforts of other committee members and the forward thinking of St. John’s leadership. It is so rewarding knowing there is insightful vision, not only from the top down, but at every layer throughout the organization.”
